Come join us in some lively discussion on gender-affirming care in the perioperative setting. Providing safe, respectful, evidence-based perioperative care for transgender and gender-diverse patients, with attention to communication, documentation, clinical considerations, and prevention of misgendering. What could we realistically change in our own pre-op, OR, PACU, and electronic documentation processes to improve the experience of transgender and gender-diverse patients?
