As a dedicated member of AORN of San Diego County, I am honored to be considered for the role of Vice President. With a passion for lifelong learning, community building, and servant leadership, I have served our chapter for six years and am committed to developing engaging content and activities that benefit our perioperative community. I hope to share our resources and maximize membership benefits for all members. Thank you for your consideration.

Secretary

Dawn Berthiaume, MSN, MBA, RN, CNOR

I am on the 2023-2024 ballot for the position of Secretary. It is critical to have individuals on the Board who work to ensure that the goals for the organization are relevant, achievable, and provide opportunities for professional growth to the members. I have been privileged to serve in some capacity for the past 9 years as well as serving as Chair of the AORN Sterile Processing/Supply Chain Management Specialty Assembly. My 45+ years of perioperative nursing practice and education experience will be assets to AORN of San Diego County as we collectively look to the future.

Dawn is adjunct faculty at Southwestern College.

Treasurer

John “Sully” Sullivan, BSN, BSBA, RN, CNOR

My first college degree is in Business Administration, and the first 20+ years of my career were in business management. My experience in business and financial management would benefit the chapter. I also love working with math, and excel at working with numbers.

Sully is interim coordinator for GI services at Rady Children’s Hospital.

Randy Blattler, FNP, PHN, CNOR

I believe that I am the right person for this job and I have the background and experience to be successful if elected to this position. I am very proud of this chapter would be honored to represent our chapter members.

Randy is a staff nurse with the United States Air Force.
